His lawyer, Khaleda, has told the BBC that he was released after serving his sentence.
The Israelis saw the young age of the Manasra and his cousin during the attack as proof that they had been indoctrinated by propaganda.
After the piercing, the Manasra escaped from the stage and was hit by a car. A graphic video, widely shared on social media, showed him that he was lying extensively on the street and the Israeli observer held and threw himself.
These shots have caused outrage in the Arab world, and many suggested that the boy was dead. However, days later, the Israeli authorities posted a photo of him in hospital.
Manasra was later convicted of attempted murder and sentenced to nine and a half years in prison.
Doctors say he developed schizophrenia behind bars and tried to harm others and himself.
Repeated legal appeals for his early release were refused on the grounds that he had been convicted of a terrorist crime.
After his release, his family refused to talk to journalists.
“So far, Ahmed's health is unknown and the priority of the family is to diagnose and treat and monitor his health to reduce the side effects that Ahmed can encounter,” Haled Habot said.
Amnesty International and the Israeli non -governmental organization, Adala, accuse the Israeli authorities of violations of international law in the Manasra case.
They indicate his interrogation at the age of 13 – without the presence of a guardian or lawyer.
A leaking video showed that the Israeli security officer was shouting and offending him when he was apparently difficult.
“The rights of the Manasra were systematically deprived of his prison. He was not allowed to see his immediate family through a glass wall, without physical contact,” Adalah said in a statement.
“He was completely denied by the right to education and devoid of other fundamental rights. His right to dignity was violated, including in two years spent in seclusion, and his right to health was neglected due to the continued medical disregard by the Israeli prison.”
The prison service says all detainees are held in accordance with international law and that all allegations of abuse are being investigated.
Recently released Palestinian prisoners say the conditions in Israeli prisons have become much harsher after the deadly attack led by Hamas over South Israel in October 2023, which caused the war in Gaza.
Many of those released during the recent termination of fire in gas seemed thin and sick, and some need immediate hospital treatment.
They have described beatings, heavy overcrowding, insufficient medical care, scabies and bad sanitary conditions.
Israel's National Security Minister Itar Ben-Gvir boasted that he was ordering strict restrictions on prisoners for security.
