Palestinians killed in the new Israeli Gazi, says Hamas Agency, ruled by Hamas

At least 55 Palestinians were killed during the night of Israeli air strikes in Gaza, said the Hamas Civil Protection Agency.

He comes after Israel resumed his bombing campaign and ground operations this week, with air strikes killing more than 430 people in two days, according to Hamas's health ministry.

Hamas says the ground operation announced by Israel on Wednesday is a “new and dangerous” violation of the fire termination transaction, which began in January. Israel resumed the attacks on Tuesday as conversations to extend the deal failed to progress.

Israel warned that the attacks would intensify in gas until Hamas releases the other hostages.

Israel says Hamas still holds 59 hostages, 24 of which are thought to be alive.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said on Thursday that they have begun “targeted ground activities” to create what it calls a “partial buffer between the north and south” in Gaza. He called the action a “restricted ground operation”.

IDF Col Avichae Adraee spokesman said the forces were located next to the center of the lane, known as the Netsim corridor, which divides the north and south gas.

On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he “resumed the battle with full force” and all negotiations to end the fire will now be held “under fire”.

Israel and Hamas failed to agree how to overcome the fire beyond the first phase, which expired on March 1st.

Hamas disagreed with a renegotiation of the cessation of the fire under the terms of Israel, although he proposed to release a living American hostage and four bodies of hostages while mediators were trying to continue to end the fire.

Israel blocks all foods, fuel and medical supplies entering Gaza in early March to put pressure on Hamas. He accused Hamas of commanding the provisions as part of his strategy against Israel, though without providing evidence.

The war was caused by Hamas's attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, in which about 1,200 people, mainly civilians, were killed and 251 other hostages taken. Twenty -five Israeli and five Thai hostages were released alive during the first phase of the cessation of fire.

Israel responded to the October attack with a large -scale military offensive, which killed over 48,500 Palestinians, mainly civilians, before Israel resumes its campaign, says Hamas Health Ministry. Israel's offensive also caused huge destruction in homes and infrastructure.
