A man from Los Angeles trying to get home from home Phoenix metro area While going to the airport with Waymo, he plunged into the carousel.
“Well, why is this happening to me on Monday?” “I'm in a Waymo car … and it's just driving,” Mike Johns asked in a video he shot in an autonomous vehicle in Scottsdale, Ariz.
In the video, the car can be heard connecting to Waymo support for help.
A customer support representative can be heard telling Johns, “I received a warning that your vehicle may have a routing problem.

He replies, “I have a flight to catch. Why is this thing going in a circle? I'm getting dizzy.” He then tells the officer that he was wearing his seat belt and “couldn't get out of the car.”
“Is this hacked? What's going on?” he asks. “I feel like I'm in a movie theater. Is someone kidding me?”

Waymo told FOX Business that the incident happened on Dec. 9, adding that a subsequent software update fixed the issue.
Johns was only 5 minutes late, the email said, and the vehicle was able to get him to his destination after the rider's support team successfully stopped the vehicle from spinning.

When Johns shared the video on social media, he wrote: “Waymo customer service is automated and It was run by artificial intelligence.”
Waymo said they tried to contact him and left a voicemail to follow up. Johns was also not paid for the trip Alphabet IncThe company owned by was added.
Johns' post says he'll be “keeping it old fashioned and just #Lyft or #Uber” from now on.
