The first Indianapolis Colts Pat McAfee fired his old team on Sunday after watching them get eliminated in the playoffs by losing to the New York Giants.
Indianapolis had three turnovers and allowed four Drew Lock touchdown passes in a 45-33 victory. The Colts dropped to 7-9 on the season and were officially out.
McAfee wrote a sharp post with X, he criticized the organization, lashed out at those who tried to “run him out of town” and announced that he would not be renewing his season tickets.

“A blind person could see red flags in this team.. Work ethic questions, NEVER happen in good teams.. Commitment questions, NEVER happen in good teams. Skipping therapy, NEVER It HAPPENS to the best teams in NFL history,” McAfee wrote.
“That's the only thing you need to tell someone (who knows football) and he can tell you everything about this team…”
He wrote that if a franchise quarterback leaves in the middle of a game because he's tired, the “instant response” will be that the team doesn't have a “chance.”
“And to no one's surprise.. that was the reaction of everyone who had played/coached the game before but. and tried to run me out of town,” McAfee continued.

“I'm not saying Joe Flacco gives us a better chance to win than AR right off the bat.. I would have said any backup QB we had on the roster. That's not what your team does.. it's not possible.. and for the most part, AR thought it was okay to do that.. it's a cultural thing. in a building built by adults.
I don't know how they fix it.
“Oh wait…..how is this all going to work out. I knew that.”
McAfee also said he won't be renewing his season tickets and hopes the team gets back to its winning ways.
“As a multi-year season ticket holder (not renewing).. and someone who has tried hard, every day, to be an addition to this beautiful city. I hope they change great franchise again.. this city deserves it.. the OGs in the Colts building deserve it (equipment managers, coaches, ticketing, PR, sales) arrogance, laziness, and ignorance led you to this vacation One first…which is what most of you entitled bums have been waiting for.
“I don't speak for the city.. and I don't speak for all the old Colts players because I was just a punter.. I've been selected for the HOF 3 times now but still.. I speak from opinion aka.. 'I've never seen a team waste more opportunities/talents/money than this team.'

McAfee was a two-time Pro Bowler punter with the Colts from 2009 to 2016.
