Catherine, Princess of Wales, said on Tuesday cancer was in remission, raising a huge cloud over both him and the British royal family, who were battling serious health problems. King Charles III.
“It's a relief to be in remission now and I'm focused on recovery,” Prince William's wife Catherine said. On Instagram.
“As anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer knows, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. However, I am looking forward to the coming year,” he added. “There's a lot to look forward to.”
Catherine said last September completed chemotherapy she had cancer and her goal was to be cancer free. But Kensington Palace, where she and William have their offices, declined to say whether her doctors were medically cancer-free or whether she was undergoing other treatments.
The palace has never confirmed the type of cancer that struck Katrina, how far it has progressed, or what treatment she is undergoing other than chemotherapy. The cancer was diagnosed in January after 14 days in the hospital abdominal surgery.
Catherine's announcement on Tuesday seemed more promising than last autumn's update, although Kensington Palace again did not provide any additional medical information. A palace official warned that Catherine would still return to official duties in phases over the rest of this year.
His announcement that he was in remission came during a visit to the Royal Marsden hospital in west London, where he was being treated. “My heartfelt thanks to everyone who has quietly walked alongside William and me as we navigate this,” Catherine said.
