Rubio says that the USA will move away from Russia-Ukraina's peaceful effort

US President Donald Trump will leave from the attempt to download Russia-Ukraina's peace agreement within a few days, unless there are clear signs that a contract can be concluded, said on Friday the secretary of state Marco Rubio.

“We will not continue this undertaking for weeks and months. So now we must determine very quickly, and I am talking about a few days whether it is feasible in the next few weeks,” said Rubio in Paris after the meeting of European and Ukrainian leaders.

“The president feels a lot about it. He spent a lot of time and energy … It is important, but many other really important things are happening that deserve the same, if not more attention.”

Rubio's warning occurred among the signs of some progress in conversations with Ukraine.

Trump said on Thursday that he was expecting to sign a contract with Kiive next week, which would give the USA access to Ukraine minerals. The attempt to sign the Minerals pact in February broke up after the clash of the Ukrainian Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy with Trump and vice president of JD Vance in an oval office.

After talks in Paris on Thursday, the first substantive, high and personal conversations about Trump's room, which included European powers, Rubio said that the American peace framework received “encouraging party”. The Zelensky office called constructive and positive conversations.

Rubio comments on Friday emphasize frustrations in the White House due to a lack of progress in the pursuit of the growing list of geopolitical challenges.

Trump promised during the election campaign to end the war in the first 24 hours in the White House. He moderated the claim about taking office, suggesting a contract until April or May, when the defense was installed.

Rubio said that he talked to the Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrow after talks with Paris and told him that they were constructive, and also informed him about the “some elements” of the American peace frame.

Rubio said that the issue of American security guarantees under each contract appeared in conversations in Paris, without major details.

He said that security guarantees were a problem “we can fix in a way that is acceptable to everyone”, but “we have greater challenges that we must determine whether it is possible in the short period.”

He said that it is clear that the peace agreement would be difficult to conclude, but it is necessary to signs that it can be done soon.

“There is no one who said that it can be done in 12 hours. But we want to see how far it is from each other and whether these differences can even be narrowed, even if it is possible to move in the period in which we mean,” he said.

Neither the French presidency nor the Ministry of Foreign Affairs immediately returned the applications for commentary.
