Samsung's CES 2025 TV lineup includes 8K AI enhancements and a wireless connectivity box.

Samsung is kicking off 2025 with a lineup of new AI-powered TVs. At CES 2025, Samsung introduced the Neo QLED 8K QN990F and QN900F, as well as the Neo QLED 4K QN90F, QN80F and QN70F. The TVs feature anti-glare technology and a suite of artificial intelligence features driven by Samsung Vision AI.

The Neo QLED 8K QN990F is Samsung's top-end model, featuring an ultra-thin, minimalist body and an NQ8 AI Gen3 processor. Its AI capabilities include proprietary 8K upscaling, frame-by-frame HDR remastering, adaptive audio, color enhancement, and an AI mode that automatically optimizes picture and sound based on the content on screen. They represent upgrades to Samsung's existing artificial intelligence efforts.

In keeping with its minimalist aesthetic, Samsung also ships the QN990F with a Wireless One Connect Box, allowing users to save space under their TV wirelessly. It's like and it's a clutter-busting contraption. Samsung claims that the Wireless One Connect Box works at a distance of up to 10 meters, even if there are obstacles in the transmission path.

Meanwhile, Samsung's QLED 4K lineup features NQ4 AI Gen3 processor, 4K AI Upscaling Pro, improved picture quality, and a 165Hz refresh rate. The QN80F has a 100-inch option, while the QN90F has a 115-inch option.

Samsung's AI ambitions span all TVs in 2025, with Vision AI delivering new personalization and optimization features across the board. Click to Search can identify people, places and products on the screen and then provide relevant information about those things in real time. For example, identify the actors in the scene, specific items of clothing, or the location being displayed. Likewise, Samsung's new Food feature can identify food on your TV and even provide relevant recipes. The feature can also analyze the contents of a connected Samsung refrigerator and create specific shopping lists or suggest you order groceries or takeout from your TV using third-party apps.

Samsung AI Home Security turns your TV into a home surveillance center. It uses the built-in microphone and connected cameras of your Samsung TV and can detect unusual sounds and movements. It then delivers alerts to your phone or straight to your TV. Live Translate provides real-time subtitle translation, while Generative Wallpaper allows users to create dynamic, personalized artwork.

In the OLED space, Samsung introduces the S95F, S90F and S85F. As the flagship of the line, the S95F features an NQ4 AI Gen3 processor, advanced anti-glare technology, a 165Hz variable refresh rate, and a brighter display than ever before.

There's also The Frame Pro, which is such a special TV that we have another story all about its new features.

As usual, Samsung intends to reveal more details about pricing and availability of its new hardware during CES 2025.
