Six injured in firing at Florida State University

At least six people were taken to hospital after shooting at Florida University in Talahasi.

One person was removed after the shooting of the University of Student University on Thursday, according to CBS News, the US partner of the BBC.

President Donald Trump said he was informed of the incident at the beginning of a meeting with Italian Prime Minister Georgy Meloni in the White House, calling him “shame, a terrible thing.”

Florida Governor Ron Ron Zanthis said: “Our prayers are with our FSU family and state law enforcement authorities, they are actively responding.”

One of the victims taken to the hospital is in a critical condition, according to the Memorial Healthcare in Talahasi, with five others in serious condition.

The university canceled all classes until Friday, and sports events were also canceled for the weekend.

Police respond to an active call of Sagittarius around local time, the university said.

She then sent a warning warning to students and those on the campus to “seek asylum and to expect additional instructions.”

“One of my classmates received a signal on his phone and announced it on the rest of the class,” Ava Arenado told CBS News Miami.

A briefing is expected later on Thursday.
