Swedish police have arrested six people in connection with a triple murder in a hair salon in Uppsala.
The suspects vary at the age of 18 to 45, according to the State Prosecutor's Office. One is suspected of committing the killings on Tuesday night.
A 16-year-old, who was arrested hours after the incident, was released on Friday.
The three casualties fired to death in the salon were between the ages of 15 and 20. The attack came on the eve of the Walpurgus Spring Festival when large crowds descended the streets of Uppsala.
Police are investigating the possibility that the shooting is related to the crime with bands.
One of the killed in the hair salon is reported to be known to police, local media reported.
The victim was involved in a police investigation into a planned attack on a relative of the band leader Ismail Abdo, according to reports. The person has never been accused.
Uppsala, a university city north of Stockholm, has long been the basis of the rival leader of the Abdo gang and Rava Majida.
A new chapter in their grass wars began in 2023, when Abdo's mother was killed in her home.
In recent years, Sweden has been watching a wave of crimes from teenage gangs, and suspected have been charged with a number of crimes from vandalism to murder.
The Swedish government has proposed a new legislation that would allow police to eavesdrop for children under the age of 15 in an attempt to cope with the problem.
