Smoke in the cabin of a flight to Hawaii forced the plane to return to the plane Seattle Airport Shortly after the Monday afternoon flight
An airline spokesperson told FOX Business Hawaiian Airlines Flight HA21 returned to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport after takeoff due to steam in the cabin. The plane was headed to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu.

According to the airline, the captain declared an emergency to receive priority handling and the Airbus 330 landed in SEA without incident.
Medical and fire personnel met the plane at the gate and all 273 passengers and 10 crew members were safely disembarked.
American Airlines is pulling up stations nationwide on Christmas Eve due to a “technical issue.”

Once the plane was cleared, the Port of Seattle Fire Department boarded to investigate and found no smoke or odor, airport spokesman Perry Cooper told The Associated Press.
