Falcon 9 SpaceX On Saturday, it launched 30 satellites into intermediate orbit for the second joint mission.
The Falcon 9 reportedly lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California at 3:34 a.m. local time on the Bandwagon-2 mission. space news. The Falcon 9's first stage touched down at the launch site eight minutes and 15 seconds after liftoff, just as the second stage completed its burn.
The media reported that the largest of the 30 payloads in the Bandwagon-2 mission was the third “Project 425” reconnaissance satellite for the South Korean military. The first satellite of its kind was launched a year ago on Falcon 9, and the second was in April on the Bandwagon-1 mission.

Another client of this launch was a HawkEye 360 that used three satellites called Cluster 11 for radio frequency intelligence. The company said these satellites have advanced payloads to acquire Data and transmitters to transmit it to ground stations
Another customer is the Finnish company Iceye, which launched two Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites on Bandwagon-2, capable of proving radar images with a resolution of 25 cm.

Other companies with Bandwagon-2 spacecraft These include Sidus Space, Tomorrow.io, True Anomaly and Think Orbital.
Last year, SpaceX introduced the Bandwagon line of ride-sharing missions to complement its suite of dedicated transport missions to sun-synchronous orbits.

The company said it offers medium-inclination missions because these orbits are the most commonly requested post-Sun synchrotrons. The company announced that it will fly two Bandwagon missions this year and two additional missions next year.
