Spirit Airlines has updated its policy to include stricter coverage rules for passengers.
The update, which went into effect on Jan. 22, says a passenger can be prohibited from riding or have been removed from a flight for offensive clothing or tattoos.
Addendums to the agreement now specify that passengers who are inappropriately dressed, such as wearing transparent clothing that reveals breasts, buttocks or other private parts, will be subject to grounding.

The contract also clarifies that passengers may not be barefoot, which is a policy Other airlines Also. Another addition to Spirit's policy, the appearance of offensive tattoos is not the usual reason for removal.
The new policy comes after dress code violations reportedly caused problems for some Spirit passengers.

In October last year, two women were fired from their positions for wearing crop tops on airlines. Last week a man from Texas was eliminated from a Spirit flight for wearing what was deemed an offensive hoodie. The passenger eventually undressed but was still escorted off the plane.
