Square Enix's next match interferes with the mystery of US -shaped murder with a bloody massacre


I bet you didn't have this on your bingo list. Developed by Studios Tactics in partnership with Square Enix, the game was discovered during the summer summer match of the live festival, and it is far from the famous bread and butter of the RPG manufacturer. Killer Inn, as it is called, is a multiplayer for the murder of the mystery that brings us among us to play in the form of us and makes it by handing players knives, pistols and many other weapons to kill or be killed while looking for the original killer.

Killer Inn can be one of those games that are best understood after playing several games, but even the detection trailer takes place a lot. The Killer Inn game stages are modeled on detectives -style games, from us to the final werewolf to mafia. A match starts with most players as participants in collaboration (“lambs”, in the Killer Inn parliament) mixed with several secret killers (“wolves”). Players complete the tasks to earn tokens being redeemed for objects and weapons, while the killers go quietly for their business – until someone detects a body. The hull contains indications left by the killer, so the lambs can try to take away the real culprit (or culprits).

Then it's all about gathering clues and identifying the wolves – but unlike us, there is no group discussion to present evidence or vote. Killer Inn skips the salon scene and dives directly into action: if you are sure someone is a killer, remove them. Use those pistols and shovels purchased with tokens to lower the villain. Unless you accidentally kill one of your innocent teammates – in that case, you are facing Stone for the rest of the match. Bummer.

The lambs have another condition for victory: forming four keys to escape the ship they brought to the island of Murder. There are other mechanics also how to find relative safety in the rooms with hotel staff, who will identify any wolves killing lambs in their sight.

Players can choose between 25 landscape characters that each has their own unique performances and abilities, the last of which is improved by the match continues, often reflecting the immediate dark sides of the participants. For example, Winston is a surgeon who kills more efficiently with knives and, when leveled, carries extra damage while covered with blood. Conversely, it gets 25 hp from finding indications and eventually builds resistance to the effects of the status. Levels do not transmit between matches – everyone starts fresh at level level.

Killer Inn has no release date, but the game will start with a closed beta -test over Steam in the near future.
