Subaru reinforces the range of Solterra EV, debuting larger SUV on Trailseeker Electric

Subaru's external carmaker arrived at New York Car Show in 2025 this week with two New electric off -roader Debbie. Updated Single EV He sees performance and improving the range that make the more attractive option and visual changes that make it less visually attractive. It is joined by the new trailseeeker, a larger, higher electric terrain that boasts more interior space for loads, whether it's for a Costco or weekend adventure.

What's new, Subaru?

The updated Soltra says it can boast more than 25% more than last year, thanks to low battery in battery capacity to 74.7 kWh (+1.9 kWh) and improvements in electricity management systems. The electric crossover has now cruised about 285 miles on charges, according to Subaru estimates. It will not win the “longest” awards, but any improvement in the range is welcome.

Improved battery warning logic Allowed allow Subaru to break the DC's fast charging rate to 150 kW, so at least the charging stops will be faster. Salt can now take from 10% to 80% recovery condition for just under 35 minutes. Model 2026 also comes standard with North America's charging port, providing native access to the Supercharger Tesla network at fast charging stations.

EV's standard double motor upgrades also provide performance improvements, with the standard configuration climbing to 233 combined horsepower. At the top of the composition, the Solterra XT-oriented performance Solterra XT steps to 338 combined horsepower, allowing a sprint at 60 km / h in less than 5 seconds. Under the hood, changes to electricity control systems and traction further improve performance, while suspension and electricity management updates promise improved handling and control.

Outside, EV has a myriad of design changes, including a newly lit Subaru logo and reshaped headlights. Depending on the color chosen color, Solterra will also now offer with nipples in body color. The idea is that this will give EV more urban feeling than harsh, obscure warts, but I think it leaves the electric SUV to look extremely generic.

Inside the SUV is acquiring a larger 14-inch touchscreen system with standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, new 15-wide wires for the front row and USB-C ports with high power.

2026 Subaru Trailseeker EV

In addition to the updated Soltra, Subaru also used the new Subaru track track in 2026, which is a terrible name, but I guess Pathfinder And Trailblazer have already been taken. Trailseeeker is essentially a larger version of Solterra EV, boasts the same standard all -wheel drive system with double -wheel drive, the same class 8.3 inches on the ground and receiving the same drive and battery life as well as its younger brothers and sisters.

That means the same battery package 74.7 kWh and the same improved 150 kW rechargeable speed via NACS gate. However, the Trailseeeker range descends to only 260 miles between the charges, probably thanks to the increased weight of the larger EV and reinforcing the 375 combined horsepower for its double motor system. The additional OMF helps the track accelerate from 0-60 km per hour in 4.4 seconds and authorize it to a 3,500-pound traction capacity.

Meanwhile, the extra foot and the higher roof give the track more space for people and cargo, although Subaru has not yet released specific interior volume numbers. And to help power accessories, camping equipment and other electronics on the track, EV also has a 120 -volt output in the rear of vehicle to a moving load.

Arrival next year

Subaru Solterra from 2026 is expected to arrive in the United States in late 2025. Shortly thereafter, Trailseeker from 2026 will find its way to dealers in early 2026. Prices and specifications should begin to get upset over the next few months.
