The war-torn country is reaching for much-needed funding, as Saudi Arabia has taken a major role in reconstruction.
Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani has announced that he will visit Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan, after making his first visit to Saudi Arabia earlier this week.

On Friday, al-Sharaa and Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati agreed by phone to restore order along the 375km (233-mile) border following clashes between the Lebanese army and Syrian rebels that left five of them injured.
Mikati's office issued a statement quoting al-Sharaa as saying that its commanders had taken “everything necessary to restore order on the border and prevent a repeat of what happened”.
Al-Sharaa, who leads Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), also asked Mikati to visit Damascus and discuss their interests.
