Tesla recalls nearly 700,000 vehicles due to tire pressure sensor problem


Another day, another Tesla recall. This time the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Nearly 700,000 Tesla vehicles alert them to a problem with a tire pressure monitoring system warning light, reports .

The recall affects 2024 Cybertrucks, 2017-2025 Model 3s and 2020-2025 Model Ys. NHTSA says the tire pressure monitoring system warning light may not illuminate between trips.

Tesla says it will send an off-road update (OTR) to vehicles affected by the warning light issue. Owner notification letters are expected to be sent on February 15, 2025.

There have been quite a few Tesla and OTR recalls in the past year. NHTSA recorded last year for Cybertruck to solve problems related to , and free trunk beds. In June, Tesla released an over-the-air update for including some 2021-2024 Model 3, S and X vehicles and 2020-2024 Model Y vehicles to repair hoods that may become loose while driving if not closed properly.
