Raina Pierce, who placed clicks on car doors, and the automaker led by billionaire Elon Musk agreed to a settlement proposed by an intermediary, according to a joint filing on Thursday at the San Francisco Federal Court.
Terms have not been disclosed, and both sides complete a settlement agreement, the filing said.
Pierce and Tesla lawyers did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Musk is not a defendant.
Pierce said it was subject to penetrating harassment, including a common racial slurry that she said it was scratched throughout the plant including in bathrooms, and sex -based insult.
She also said that she had been yelled or disciplined for the behavior of employees who were not black for.
Pierce's complaint quotes a Tesla worker who joined his production line and said, “Ma'am, you need to go to ad because these leaders say things about you they are not right.”
Tesla has faced other accusations of racial and harassment discrimination at the Fremont factory.
One Plaintiff, executive of Elevator Owen Diaz, settled in March 2024 for unveiled terms after a $ 3.2 million verdict verdict. Another jury had awarded Diaz $ 137 million in 2021, but the case was resigned after he rejected a lower amount the judge proposed.
The case is Pierce v Tesla Inc et al, US District Court, Northern California region, no. 22-03177.
