A Texas Pizzeria An unfortunate case of petty theft has found another victim through its hilarious social media post.
Stone Oven Pizza in Wichita Falls took to their Facebook page tip jar money stolen and offering an auction to recover missing labor dollars.
The youth accused in the act left behind a cowboy hat, so the restaurant owners decided that it was appropriate to use the misplaced hat and return the proceeds.

“Last night, our staff encountered an incident where some young people stole tips from a bucket… However, luckily, they left this hat behind… The community of Wichita Falls is here , and we would like to open an auction… The highest bidder on Tuesday afternoon will win this real jicama-giga!” the post said.
The business said all proceeds from the auction will be split equally between the three tipped workers.
What the pizzeria did not expect was that the good efforts would lead to the discovery of the true owner of the hat, who was not one of the youth.
An update to the original post indicated that the same youth had entered the man truck and stolen hat's off to him.

The youths in charge left the cowboy hat behind and the restaurant owners decided it would be best to use the misplaced hat and return the proceeds.

“When the owners of Stone Oven were willing to meet this man in a second battle to protect our team's earnings… It was the team members themselves who decided that this man's head really seemed to be cool…don't worry about the workers being given $50 bonuses for selfishness and compassion,” said another section.
The restaurant then go boasting that they are proud of their city and the support they received after the robbery.
