The 33-year-old pays $ 3100 per month for an apartment in an old bank

Plaisance, the creator of content, has experience in graphic design and commercial photography, so finding a house like the old bank was a dream come true.

“When I found this place, it was a beautiful canvas for me,” he says. “I have always imagined that I live in a very artistic, creative, colorful, unique space. So, to have this place, because my adult home is so cool for me.”

As a self -proclaimed “deliberate maximalist”, Plaisance transformed with a dark gray and small blue space into her colorful dream home. Some of her valued things are a lip -shaped sofa and two massive cherries, which she cheated and repaired for use as a work of art in the apartment.

“I think that a good way to describe my style would be deliberate maximalism, because I really like maximizing elements of decor, but not many of them,” he says.

Plaisance estimates that she spent $ 28,000 on renovations. She did a lot of work herself, such as adding crowns to the walls – with the help of her father – and transforming the bank's old entrance into a dog's bedroom.

“The first thing I did when I moved home is to place rainbow curtains in space,” he says. “And playing with my curtains is that you close them, makes one giant rainbow.”

After adding rainbow curtains to the space, one of the first things that was done, with the help of the father, was the studio space in the living room in which he filmed.

Plaisance says that she spent the whole year decorating the original bedroom: “It's very cheer Anderson, a bit like a mixed space with a Paris castle.”

The couple transformed one of the other bedrooms into a Plaisance office. “I fill the room with a work of art that I like, inspired me,” he says.

The basement has a second bathroom and a third bedroom, which the boy Plaisance uses as his office. The basement also has a transition to a common area of ​​the building, where Plaisance has its workshops.

“It looks like a tool store that I love,” he says.

The couple have lived in a former bank for over two years, and Plaisance says they have no plans to leave.

“I really want to spend time to transform this place because I know that I want to live here for a long time,” he says. “It's work in progress.”

The next step is to renovate the kitchen, for which he plans to get professional help. Over the next five years, he says she would like to make a bathroom.
