Berlin – On Thursday, the driver introduced a car into a group of people in Central Munich, affected by almost 30 people, including children, the authorities said. Police said at least 28 people were injured and the suspect was considered a 24-year-old Afghan shelter. Earlier, officials stated that at least two of the victims were in a serious condition.
Bavarian Governor Markus Seder said the incident occurred on the square near Munich at about 10:30 am was “suspected of attack”.
Police said on the X social platform that the driver was “secured” at the scene and no longer posed any danger. At the scene, you could see damaged mini as well as garbage, including shoes. The man was seen as he was taken into custody.

The mayor of the Dyere Reiter said he was “deeply shocked” by the incident. He said the children were among the victims.
At the time of the incident there was a demonstration of the union of employees of the service. It was not immediately clear whether the demonstrators were among the victims.
In the coming days, the Bavarian capital will see the Great Security as the Munich Security Conference will open on Friday, an annual meeting of international officials and security policies.
The incident happened less than two months after the man punched a truck through a crowd in the Christmas market in the eastern city of Magdeburg, Killing five people and injured more than 200 others. The German government said the tragedy would be difficult to prevent and the suspect seemed mentally disturbed.
