Pope Francis “is more bad than yesterday,” said the Vatican in a statement on Saturday, adding that he suffered a “prolonged asthma respiratory crisis” earlier.
The Vatican's statement said that the pope, who was treated in the hospital for double pneumonia, was closer, but added that the forecasts for him “remains guarded”.
