Sony just revealed first set of PlayStation Plus games in 2025 available to all subscribers, regardless of what level of service they subscribe to. This month Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Update And The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. I can't say this is the most exciting set of games, but at least The Parable of Stanley – this is a classic, albeit an old one – the game was first released back in 2011 as a mod for Half-life 2. Then the game received a full release in 2013, and Ultra Deluxe there was a version released for modern consoles in 2022.
The creators of the original version, Davey Reden and William Pugh, teamed up Ultra Deluxe edition with an expanded scenario and a number of other new changes, about which the developers did not particularly warn: “Everything that you remember has been recreated, but somehow differently. We've been here before, haven't we?” Overall, however, the game expands on the original by adding more choices, more dialogue, and more options for player navigation. If you haven't tried the game yet, now you have no excuse not to try it.
Need for Speed: Hot on the Trail Updated This is another old game, originally released in 2010, but updated for PS4 in 2020. This is the version available here with full career modes for either a racer or a cop, depending on which side of the law you prefer to be on. This version also includes multiplayer modes and all DLC released for the original game.
Finally, the newest game in the series. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League the live service game, which suffered many delays, received mostly negative reviews and This reportedly cost Warner Bros. approximately 200 million dollars. To add insult to injury, the developers announced that the current season of content will be his lastalthough there are no plans to close the game yet. Considering it only came out in February of this year, that's a pretty short lifespan. I'm not sure I'd want to jump on a sinking ship at this point, but at least you can try without shelling out the $70 it still costs.
All these games are available to PS Plus subscribers from January 7th, but until then you have time add December games to your library.
