Years before you found fame on hit shows like “Friday Night Lights” and “True Detective,” Taylor Kitsch he was down with luck.
“I was sleeping on the subway,” the actor, who moved from Canada to New York City to pursue modeling and acting in 2002, it said People magazine.

He said, 'What do you want to do?' I said, 'People's pieces,'” she told People. “He was like, 'Okay, I'll take a risk on you.'
“All I ever wanted to do was disappear from different people,” Kitsch added. “It was never about leading the show or being in the limelight or the money.”
Four years later, Kitsch landed a life-changing role as Tim Riggins in “Friday Night Lights” in 2006.
“People, for one reason or another, are really drawn to Riggins,” he told the outlet. “It really affected my life, and all for the good.”

Despite his success, Kitsch – who currently stars in the Netflix series “American Primeval” – has never been a fan of the glitz and glam of Hollywood.
“I started a business later, and I was able to figure out who I was and what I needed,” Kitsch, who moved to Montana in 2023, said. “I'm really excited about this, because it's an empowerment camp,” said Kitsch, whose sister battled alcoholism a year earlier.
“I didn't even know the great escape had happened until I had the chance to crash with my sister,” Kitsch told People. “I was like, 'Man, it feels amazing to give people a chance to reconnect in nature and slow things down.'
