Eighty years after the end of World War II, the Netherlands' largest war archive is going public. No longer classified, it contains the names of hundreds of thousands of people who were investigated for collaborating with the Nazis. The release has generated much interest, but also public debate. A few weeks before the entire archive, containing 30 million documents, went live, the Dutch Data Protection Authority intervened, citing privacy concerns.
