The Palestinian Fields, who disappeared after the Israeli attack, killing 15 other emergency workers in Southern Gaza three weeks ago, was detained by Israeli authorities, said the International Committee of the Red Cross.
ICRC has confirmed in a statement that it has “received information” that Medic Assad Assad Al-Nassasra has been held in an Israeli detention.
The PRC said that Nasasra was “violently abducted” by Israeli troops after the attack and called for his immediate release.
Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) did not confirm their detention. A spokesman said he was aware of the allegation of his whereabouts.

Another PRCC physician survived and said he had been released from the Israeli forces after being detained for about 15 hours.
Prcs said the incident was a “full -fledged war crime”, accusing the Israeli forces of “a series of intentional attacks” on his staff and their ambulances as they responded to a call to help the victims.
He called for an independent international investigation of the incident and for the responsible ones to be reported.
Last Monday, IDF said a preliminary investigation shows that troops were “opening fire due to a perceived threat after a previous meeting in the area and that six of the killed in the incident were identified as Hamas terrorists” without giving evidence.
The Palestinian red crescent rejected the claim, as did the other surviving paramedic.
Initially, the IDF said his troops fired at “suspicious vehicles” driving in darkness with excluded headlights and emergency lights.
But he later said the account was “wrong” after a video found on the Medic Rifaat Radwan mobile phone, which was in the same ambulance as Assad al Nasasra, showed that the convoy was using its emergency lights.

In a statement published on Sunday, Prcs said: “We are informed by the International Red Cross Committee that Medic Assad Al Nasasra is being held by Israeli occupation authorities.
“His fate had remained unknown as he was directed with other medical medicines in Rafa.”
He added: “We are urging the international community to put pressure on the occupation authorities to immediately release their colleague Medic Assad, who was forcibly abducted while performing his humanitarian duties.”
A prcs spokesman told the New York Times that G -n Nassasra worked for PRCS for 16 years and was married with six children.
A spokesman for the ICC said he had informed the family of G -Nasra and the PCC after receiving information about his whereabouts.
He noted: “The MCC has not gained access to a visit to Assad al Nasasra. The ICC has failed to visit Palestinian detainees held in Israeli detention areas since October 7, 2023”
The Israeli military launched a campaign to destroy Hamas in response to an unprecedented cross -border attack on October 7, 2023, which killed about 1,200 people and 251 were taken hostage.
