Donations about clothes and money are entitled to three children who were “basically abandoned” by their mother for years, living alone in a suburban house in Detroit among garbage and feces, said Sheriff on Tuesday.
“You wouldn't make this animal, let alone your child,” said Oakland, Mike Bouchard.
Bouchard said that the mother leaves food on the porridge at the Pontiac house from time to time, but she lived elsewhere and had little contact with children, a 15-year-old boy and two girls aged 13 and 12. He is now in prison, while prosecutors are considering submitting a fee application.
The police found the children on Friday after the owner said that the mother was based on rent and wondered if the problem appeared at home. The stage was so extreme that the investigators wore hazmat suits.
“Garbage was lined in some places with a height of three and four feet. Everything was covered with feces and rubbish, “said Bouchard. “The toilet has become non -functional. Such a situation in which these poor children have lived for years, not only hours or days – for years. “
The boy pointed out that he left the house only twice: “Once because he wanted to feel the grass, which in itself is painful,” said Sherf.
Bouchard said they were “basically abandoned” and are afraid to leave.
He said that children could live alone for over four years. Bouchard said that the mother and delivery companies would drop food, although the drivers were apparently not aware that there were children inside.
Sheriff said their father lost contact with children in prison and was banned by their mother when he was released.
After only a few days, children make great progress, with medical exams, fresh clothes and help in hygiene, said Bouchard.
