CES is a great place to check out all sorts of new products of the year, but it's often the wildest gadgets. who steal everyone's attention. The conference has thousands of exhibitors, each vying for attention, and you never know what they'll come up with. And this year’s exhibition did not let us down. So, without further ado, here's the weirdest tech we came across at CES 2025—all the crazy (and insanely useful) gadgets we spotted in the wild on the show floor. Just keep in mind that weird doesn't necessarily mean bad: we actually want to buy some of these! This isn't your average laptop or TV from the big manufacturers that dominated the show.
EcoFlow Power Cap
Want to look like a Hogwarts professor while easily charging your smartphone? Then we have the hat for you. EcoFlow Power Hat includes a built-in set of monocrystalline silicon solar cells and a pair of charging ports. Sure, it looks stupid, but it also looks damn useful. It costs $129 and is available right now.
Inner Virtual Reality Explorer
VR can easily show us digital views, but it can't do much with natural motion. That's where this quirky and cool swivel chair comes in. Inner Virtual Reality Explorer moves in the direction of head tilt and is designed to work with Meta Quest headsets, but can integrate with other models. Surprisingly, it doesn't seem to cause too much motion sickness. It costs $800 and is available now.
Yukai Mirumi
There wouldn't be an adorable robot at CES that stole our hearts. This year's sweetest pie Yukai Mirumiand that is the absolute unit of fluff. All he really does is look cute and maintain eye contact, occasionally glancing shyly elsewhere as he is difficult to achieve. But that's enough. Playing with him is like getting to know a new kitten, and we're totally fine with that. When it hits the crowdsourcing platform later this year, it should cost around $80.
Solar beach umbrella Anker Solix
Sun umbrellas are a good idea. This thing is already open to provide much-needed shade, meaning you can make it suck up the juice of the sun. This is Anker's idea behind Solix Solar beach umbrella. Its panels use perovskite solar cells, which are very efficient and deliver up to 80 watts of power. We don't have any pricing or availability information for this device yet, but it should be available by summer.
Roborok Saros Z70
This is not a drill. Roborok Saros Z70 The robot vacuum cleaner boasts real robotic arms that pick up items from the floor while cleaning. It can lift objects weighing up to 300 grams, so it works great with dirty socks, pet toys, and even light sandals. However, there appears to be a limit to the number of items the AI can recognize. This handy robot vacuum cleaner does not yet have a price or release date.
Mechanical systems Comet
Mechanical systems Comet This is the pocket computer of our dreams. This miniature doodad is a modular Linux-based computer designed for hobbyists, engineers, artists and roboticists. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz quad-core ARM64 processor, 32 GB of internal memory and 4 GB of RAM. However, everything is extensible and customizable. The magnetic snap interface allows people to attach different control panels for unique use cases. His I'm coming to Kickstarter coming soon, with a starting price of $160.
Jizai Mi-Mo
Here's another robot, and it looks exactly like the iconic Pixar lamp. Jizai Mi-Mo is described as a “general purpose artificial intelligence robot” that “thinks and acts” on its own. It has a built-in camera and microphones and uses several large language models for voice and image recognition. The company hopes that one day the robot will be used for simple child care tasks, such as reminding children to do their homework. This is just a prototype at the moment, so pricing and availability are unknown.
AirStudio One
Why buy a microphone and headphones at the same time when you can just opt for this weird 2-in-1 gadget? AirStudio One is a decent wireless condenser microphone that hides a secret. When you open the case, you see an audio interface, a USB-C wireless adapter, and a pair of true wireless headphones. We couldn't figure out how the mic sounded (CES is noisy), but it could be a real boon for musicians when it launches later this year.
SwitchBot K20+ Pro
Here's a robot vacuum cleaner with a built-in stand that allows it to roam around the house while carrying something else, like an air purifier or tablet. SwitchBot K20+ Pro described as a “multi-tasking” house helper who can do anything except mop the floor. To this end, it supports a wide range of attachments and easily connects to other SwitchBot devices. In theory, this thing can also deliver drinks and snacks. It will go on sale later this year, but there is no price yet.
Haus.me microhouse Pro
Haus.me microhouse Pro it's a tiny house with not-so-tiny ambitions. It can be placed virtually anywhere, requires no professional contractors or site preparation, and meets California seismic fire codes and CAT-5 hurricane requirements. These 120-square-foot residences also feature floor-to-ceiling windows, a full-size shower, a kitchen, and a trundle bed that folds down to create a table and two benches. Prices start at $35,000, which isn't too bad considering it's a house. Pre-orders are open now.
Govee Gaming Pixel Light
Want unique decor for your game room? Govee Gaming Pixel Light Available in two sizes, with the ability to be placed on a desktop or mounted to a wall. Out of the box, users can choose from 150 pixel scenes, but that's just the beginning. The device can be programmed both on the display itself and using the accompanying application. This app actually has a chatbot that allows people to simply describe what they want to see. Pretty cool, right? It will be available later this year and will cost $100.
MSI Mag Coreliquid A13
MSI created a concept CPU water block with a built-in player for CES 2025, and it's simply amazing.
Unfortunately, there are no plans for its mass production.

MSI Mag Coreliquid A13 — CPU cooler with built-in player. Yeah. You read that right. It's based on the Mag Coreliquid A15 360, but adds a nice rotating desk that fits right inside the desktop. The word “turntable” is appropriate here, but it does not play records. Instead, MSI showed off a device used to spin around a dragon mascot character. It's very cool and I really want it, but it's just a concept design for now. MSI has no plans to sell this thing.
