WASHINGTON – An armed man is considered to travel to Indiana, after a clash in early Sunday, a US Secret Service agents shot him near the White House.
According to a secret service statement, no one else was injured in the firing around a block from the White House about midnight.

President Donald Trump was in Florida at the time of the shooting.
The Secret Service received information from the local police about an alleged “suicidal person” traveling from Indiana, and the man's car and a person were nearby to meet in detail.
The Secret Service said in a statement, “When the officers approached, the person branded the firearms and armed confrontation took place, during which our personnel opened fire.”
The man was admitted to the hospital. The Secret Service said his condition was “unknown”.
The Metropolitan Police Department will investigate this as law enforcement officers were involved in the firing. The police department refused to provide further details.
