2024 brought some big ones medical progress.

That includes the approval of “new drugs” such as Tryvio for high blood pressure, Neffy for asthma and Dupixent for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), all of which received FDA approval last year this.

This medicine “they are intended to have the greatest impact on those who need them,” according to GoodRx, a California-based health care agency.

Earlier this month, GoodRx released a list of 19 drugs with the highest impact and vaccination permits of 2024, some newly developed to treat certain conditions and some existing medicines that were approved for further use.

Here is a chronological list of FDA approvals.

1. Dupixent – Additional use: Eosinophilic esophagitis (an inflammatory condition that causes inflammation of the esophagus)

Personally, GoodRx noted that the list was created by prioritizing “primary drugs and vaccines that are expected to have the greatest impact on. human health.”

“This is defined as the number of people affected by the health or the expected level of effect in people who will receive the medicine,” the company wrote.

“We also prioritize drugs with efficacy or safety data that represent a demonstrable advantage over other drugs recommended by clinical treatment guidelines or mainstream medical organizations.”
