The Komutr Buds were announced on Friday, just days ahead of their CES 2025 debut. In a sea of fully wireless headphones, the 0.47-inch charging case is a real standout feature. Unlike those included in other categories, These buds don't actually charge the phone — it's just about the convenience of having them on your phone all the time.
The case has a flip cover that allows the buds to be removed while still attached to the phone. It also doubles as a cover for watching videos. The buds themselves are rated for up to 10 hours of battery life, triple that when the case is installed.
The company says there will also be “adjustable options for smartphones without MagSafe capability,” but where's the fun in that? Pre-orders will begin on January 15, and the buds will go on sale in May for $129.
