However, the Japanese company Mihatama came to the rescue. CES 2025 in Las Vegas with Flavor Craft AI, an app-controlled system that allows you to dose the beans according to your taste. You can imagine coffee snobs clutching their heads at the thought of mixing beans this way.

Essentially, you launch the app and select preferences based on your preferred flavor profile, selecting strength, acidity, bitterness, astringency, and richness. Once you do this, the AI ​​will tell the machine to produce a mixture of different grains in sufficient quantity to achieve the desired flavor. Said beans will be collected in the bottom tray, from where you can then throw them into the grinder of your choice and brew your drink.

The company has created a pre-launch page on Indiagogo which will open for pre-sales in the near future. Its representatives said it will cost about $400 when it goes on sale, give or take the cost of never having your coffee snob friends over to your house again.
