Thousands of March through a camp in honor of the 80th anniversary of Liberation

Thousands of people, including the Holocaust survivors, have participated in the annual March of Living through the former Nazi concentration camp, Auschwitz-Birkena.

The hike follows a 3 km (1.86 miles) route to the Auschwitz-Birkenau crematorium, as participants pay tribute to millions of Jews killed in the Holocaust and call for the termination of anti-Semitism and intolerance.

Many of those on the hike wore Israeli flags and called for the liberation of hostages still held by Hamas in Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Isaac Duke joined the crowds as they broke through the camp, 80 years after Soviet troops liberated him.
