Trump signs promising TikTok order to delay app ban Reuters


WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday signed an executive order delaying the ban on the popular short video app TikTok that was set to shut down on January 19.

When asked what the TikTok order was, Trump said “you just gave me the right to sell it or shut it down” … “and we will make a determination”.

In a presidential action, Trump ordered the attorney general to take no action against TikTok for 75 days.
