A Taiwanese semiconductor company reported December quarter revenue that topped analyst estimates as the company continues to benefit from the artificial intelligence boom.
The world's largest chipmaker reported revenue of NT$868.5 billion ($26.3 billion) in the fourth quarter, up 38.8% year-on-year, according to CNBC calculations.
That topped the Refinitiv consensus estimate of New Taiwan's $850.1 billion.
TSMC produces semiconductors for several of the world's largest companies, including: Apple AND Nvidia.
