Ubisoft is quietly releasing another NFT game featuring Rayman, Blood Dragon

Hello gamers! Do you like it? Rayman? Do you like it? Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon? Do you want them to make a new one? Rayman or Blood Dragon game? Well, your wish has (sort of) come true if you are willing to give your desire a lot of leeway and some money. Journalist Stephen Totilo The newsletter reported that Ubisoft had secretly released a new Web3 game with an NFT featuring Captain Laserhawk from Blood Dragon a spin-off of the animated series on Netflix and Rayman (who hasn't appeared in a new adventure for many years).

looks like a basic top-down shooter set in a bright neon future world. Blood Dragon Universe. You compete in an arena-style blood sport where getting the most kills will win you the victory. Totilo describes it as “the simplest top-down shooter you can imagine.”

To play you will need a Niji Warrior NFT. Totilo reported that earlier this month Ubisoft offered 10,000 special NFTs for free with some Web3 transaction fees. The Niji Warrior NFT serves as a form of identification, and if you missed the chance to get one for free, you'll have to fork out at least $14.38 (0.0022 in Ethereum, according to ) just to get into the game.

Then, to add digital insult to injury, Rayman serves as the announcer for future gladiatorial deathmatches. Rayman appears in the game, but you won't even be able to play as the game's cunning cartoon character. He's forced to be Marv Albert in this bloodthirsty cryptocurrency takeover.

There's only one good reason to play this game: you don't have to work hard to get on the leaderboard. Totilo said he placed in the top 10 of the global leaderboard, a leaderboard with fewer than 100 players. I wouldn't call the game a runaway hit just yet.

This isn't the first time Ubisoft has quietly released a Web3-based game to cash in on the NFT craze, which fizzled out in popularity years ago. Ubisoft Quartz has released a tactical RPG in October, when players could buy up to $6,300 worth of NFTs.
