Ukraine and its allies are ready for a “full, unconditional suspension of weapons” with Russia for at least 30 days from Monday, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister of Andria Sybiha said on Saturday.
His comments appeared when the leaders of the four main European countries visited Kiiv, among Moscow, to agree to the truce and have peace talks to the end of almost three years of war. They followed what Sibiha said was a “constructive” telephone conversation between them, US president Donald Trump and the president of Ukrainian Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Saturday is also the last day of a unilateral three -day suspension of weapons declared by Russia. Ukraine accuses the Kremlin's strength of repeated violation of the arms suspension.
In March, the United States proposed an immediate, limited 30-day truce, which Ukraine accepted, but the Kremlin reportedly maintained for better conditions.

Four European leaders arrived together on Saturday at the Kiev railway station and soon after they met Zelenskyy to join the independence ceremony on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. They lit candles in a makeshift monument of flags for fallen Ukrainian soldiers and civilians killed since the invasion of Russia on February 24, 2022.

“We repeat our support for the calls of President Trump about a peace agreement and call Russia to stop making efforts to ensure a lasting peace,” said leaders in a joint statement.
“Together with the USA, we call Russia to agree (to) a full and unconditional 30-day arms suspension to create a space for conversations about a fair and lasting peace.”
There was no immediate response from Moscow to call a weapon suspension.
Russia maintained attacks along the front line about 1600 kilometers, including deadly strokes in residential areas.
On Thursday, Sibiha called a three -day suspension of weapons, which Russia declared by Russia “farce”, accusing Russian forces of violating it over 700 times in one day, formally entering into force. On the same day, both sides said that the attacks on their soldiers lasted.

On Saturday morning, local officials in the northern region of sums in Ukraine said that the Russian fire on the last day killed three inhabitants and wounded four more. According to the regional governor Oleksandra Prokudin, another civilian man died on Saturday, when the Russian drone hit the southern city of Kherson.
Talking to reporters in Kiev, French President Emmanuel Macron said: “What is happening to Poland, Germany and Great Britain, is a historical moment for European defense towards greater independence for our security. Of course for Ukraine and all of us. This is a new era. This is a new era. This is Europe that is perceived as power.”
Trump said last week that Vladimir Putin doubts Russia's president, he wants to end his war in Ukraine, expressing new skepticism that you can soon reach a peace agreement and suggested further sanctions against Russia.

The progress after the end of the war seemed elusive in months since Trump returned to the White House, and his previous claims about the upcoming breakthroughs were not ruled.
