Are you missing some ashes? The urn was recently discovered in the back of an Uber in the Kansas City metro area. And no one can know who it might belong to. New report from Fox4 in kansas city
“I don't know what to do about this…. My son found this urn in an Uber,” Erin Hayden wrote on Facebook on December 1, 2024.
Hayden wrote that her son asked the Uber driver if this was his urn. And he confirmed that it wasn't. The driver didn't seem to know who it was. Because each day he drives many people.
“It was small and obviously well liked because the blue was rubbing off… Does anyone know what we should do about this?” Hayden wrote. “Son was in Overland Park when he found it but Ubered all over KC.” Son found it on Thursday.”
Uber was in Kansas City, Kansas, when a passenger discovered the urn. But it's unclear how far the Uber driver traveled. and how to discover it (Used by a passenger with a flashlight) indicating that it had probably been there for some time.

“I jumped out of Uber and just to make sure we didn't leave anything behind. So we didn't need an Uber back,” Hayden said. “I picked up a flashlight and found a couple of things. But I was able to pick it up.”
Hayden said he texted a friend to make sure it wasn't their urn. And he doesn't know what to do about it now.
“It's a pretty big product. It might be especially sentimental for someone,” Hayden said.
Ty Hayden served in the military and was stationed in Florida. So he left the urn with his mother in Kansas City, according to Fox4. Anyone who may know who the urn belongs to is asked to contact. Erin Hayden on Facebook– and even though her post has been shared more than 200 times, no one has come forward with any ideas yet.
“He was so cute and people were carrying him around,” Hayden told Fox4.
Hayden said they will keep the urn and keep it on a shelf. “Until someone claims it.”
