It is hard to imagine a worse time. It is now clear that the government desperately needs Trump. In another week he will be sitting in the Oval Office. He will hold the purse strings. He has already been tagged California politicians as “incompetence”. He has been told Governor Newsom he should resign. And Senator Barrasso says there will be strings attached to the money the federal government gives. good

This is an opportunity to reject what you might call the “California model” of government. It doesn't work, and Trump has the leverage for change.

What about California as a sanctuary state? Will they continue to encourage illegal border crossers? Will they continue to protect illegal criminals from deportation? Trump will not be pleased to see a state legislature spend $25 million to oppose Trump's policies.

But Newsom shows no sign of deference to the president-elect. he says Trump “politicized” the disaster. But this event was partly caused by bad policies. An unfriendly business environment he commands. There is a lot to go and Trump will continue to do so!
