There were footage for mobile phones, which seem to be contrary to Israel's story why soldiers opened fire on a convoy of ambulance and fire truck on March 23, killing 15 rescuers.
The video was published by the Palestinian Society of the Red Crescent (PRCS), which said it was received from the phone of a paramedic who was killed.
It shows that vehicles move in darkness with headlights and emergency flashing lights included – before they enter a fire.
The original statement by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) is said to be “several uncoordinated vehicles have been identified, which are raised suspiciously to IDF troops without headlights or emergency signals. Then IDF troops opened fire in suspected vehicles.”
Early surviving a paramedic told the BBC that the ambulances were clearly marked and turned on their inner and exterior lights.
In response to the new video, the IDF told the BBC: “All allegations, including the documentation distributed to the incident, will be detailed and deeply considered to understand the sequence of events and the processing of the situation.”
