Social media is abuzz after a video of two men serving tea in disposable cups while walking down the aisle of an IndiGo flight went viral on Instagram. The two were seen mimicking the typical style associated with Indian railway service, tending to a seated female passenger, using a bottle to pour tea.

The video quickly gained traction, garnering over 600,000 views and eliciting comments ranging from humor to criticism. One onlooker humorously suggested, “Mung faali wala chaat masala soon,” referring to the vendors selling snacks on trains.

Conversely, other users expressed concern over the propriety of the situation, with one commenting, “Aviation has become a joke in India… Jet Airways days have been good…. No bullshit….Thoroughly professional”.

Echoing a similar sentiment, a second user commented, “Foreigners talking bad about India.. Please behave.”

In a related high-profile case, Trisha Shetty, founder of SheSays, accused IndiGo staff of not helping her mother after she was reportedly “stealing” during a flight. According to Shetty's social media post, the crew left her mother's handbag in the overhead cabin while she slept.

A fellow passenger took the bag but returned it after the collision. Shetty criticized the airline staff for their lack of assistance in filing a complaint, saying, “Dear IndiGo, My mom was stolen on your flight 6E 17. The flight crew kept her handbag on top.
