LG will debut at CES “press day,” a full day of press conferences that precedes the show floor opening on Tuesday. LG executives will take the stage in Mandalay Bay at exactly 8am PT on Monday – and you can watch it all right here.
Last yearLG beat Apple to the punch by reinventing what the initials “AI” stand for. In LG parlance, this is “gentle intelligence.” I'm leaning towards it again this year. As for more tangible products, transparent OLED-T TV The company, which announced in 2024, has indeed crossed the pre-order finish line before New Year's Eve – with $60,000 price tag. In addition to its usual big appliance ads, LG even advertised new electric vehicle chargers. But small home robot LG, introduced last year, has not appeared since then.
What to expect at the LG CES 2025 press conference
Beyond the “AI is Everywhere” slogan (which you'll hear from nearly every vendor this year), expect LG to bring together the full range of its product categories, from TVs to home appliances and everything in between. And since LG (like Samsung) tended to tip in the days and weeks leading up to CES, we already have some idea of what to expect. For example, we already know that the company 2025 OLED Evo TV line will combine 4K resolution with a gaming-friendly 165Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, new PF600U combines an HD projector, Bluetooth speaker and LED mood light into what looks like an old-school floor fan. As for the sound, Engadget's Billy Steele already likes the “punchy highs” he heard during a quick demo of the compact. Soundbar S20A. AND the latest LG Signature microwave oven includes a built-in 27″ touchscreen display on the door, so your kitchen will never be without a screen.
Of course, we're hoping to see a different take on transparent TVs (perhaps at a more consumer-friendly price point) and perhaps a real-life take on this robot.
