The theme of Samsung CES 2025 is “AI for everyone.” (Samsung)

Samsung is the 800-pound gorilla of CES, the global electronics giant that makes mobile devices, TVs, home theater products and kitchen appliances, just to name a few. Traditionally, the company has used CES to remind the world that it is a major competitor in all of these areas, while also offering a behind-the-scenes look at some of its more advanced technologies.

For example, in 2024, Samsung's CES press conference covered all the usual iterative updates – new TVs, new projectors, new soundbars – but also offered the first looks at truly futuristic products. And until we see transparent MicroLED screens You'll soon be able to purchase at your local Best Buy Speaker Music Frame which was first demonstrated at CES 2024. Or perhaps Bally will be more autonomous this time. This would better fit the “AI for Everyone: Every Day, Everywhere” theme the company announced at its presentation in Las Vegas. What you shouldn't expect to see in Vegas: the rumored Galaxy S25 line of smartphones. If the company sticks to its recent schedule, Samsung will likely schedule the presentation for the second half of January, when it will be in the tech news spotlight. (Last year it was an event on January 17, announced at January 11.)
