A SpaceX rocket lifted off from Florida carrying two privately built lunar rovers and a micro rover to the moon.
An uncrewed Falcon 9 blasted off from the Kennedy Space Center on Wednesday.
Later on Wednesday, SpaceX is expected to conduct the seventh flight test of the Starship rocket. He completed the world's first last year after part of it was caught on his return to the launch pad.
It comes days after the launch of Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin rocket was delayed due to a “vehicle subsystem problem.”
