It's hard to find a company with a better 2024 than NVIDIA. Even after some volatility in recent weeks, the chip giant's share price finished last year at 178 percentand its market capitalization of over $3.3 trillion (with a T) is currently second only to Apple. That's thanks to the fact that the ongoing AI revolution is largely powered by processors from NVIDIA, which makes billions from its hardware even as its customers remain at a loss.
So what does founder and CEO Jensen Huang do for an encore? It's a great question, but we won't have to wait long for an answer. Huang kicks off CES 2025 in Las Vegas with the first keynote. He'll take the stage at Mandalay Bay on Monday, January 8th at 9:30 pm ET – and you can watch his performance live right here.
What to expect at the NVIDIA CES 2025 press conference?
In addition to a slew of AI-focused partnerships and services, NVIDIA unveiled a number of announcements aimed at PC gamers at the CES 2024 press conference with new RTX 40 Super GPU Cards and updated the GeForce Now game streaming platform.
In 2025, expect the inevitable sequels: Rumors suggest incredibly fast RTX 5090 for starters. Of course, Wall Street will be more focused on the details Huang will undoubtedly share about the state of NVIDIA's AI hardware. We'll likely hear more news about the company. Blackwell AI chipswhich should start delivering in larger volumes this year after first going to market in late 2024.
