In 2024, Edifier published a set of ears, Ghost S10From its audiophilic brand Stax shows flat magnetic drivers with low-division (plain magnetic drivers just recently began to appear in real wireless ears). The sound of the glass buds was a little neutral for some people, including me, and the noise cancellation was not strong enough. But the cancellation of sound and noise is improved with the planet of the new-2025 neobuds of EDIFIER. While they retain the pure, pure sound of glass buds, they serve more bass and sound more vibrant and dynamic than the S10 spirit. They also have a more efficient cancellation of noise, plus good performance for calling.
Along with those planetary magnetic drivers, Planar Neobuds is powered by a Qualcomm chipset that supports all audio codes in Snapdragon Sound Suite Snapdragon, including APTX Audio, APTX Adaptive and APTX without losses, plus HD codes such as LDAC and LHDC 5.0 (most Android android Smartphones Support LDAC). In addition, after the universally supported AAC CODEC is on the ship and you can expose EQ settings through the EDIFIER CONNEX application.
While using these buds with both the iPhone and with a few Android smartphones, I think these are a little better customized for use with Android devices, especially those authorized with Snapdragon sound. As you expect from the ears that cost this a lot, the Neobuds planner is equipped with ear detection sensors and wireless filling. The battery life is quite average (up to about 5 hours with noise cancellation), and they are the IPX55-proof and dust resistant. 7 different ear tips are included to ensure you get a narrow seal, which is crucial to getting optimal sound quality.
