Will Austria's Freedom Party form a coalition and form a stable government? | | The Far Right

Herbert Kickle the first right-wing leader since World War II to be invited to form a government.

Austria may soon join the growing number of far-right European Union states.

Months of talks led by the conservative Austrian People's Party have ended without a deal and the president, a former leftist leader of the Greens, has been left with no choice but to look to the right.

The Freedom Party (FPO) is anti-immigrant and pro-Russian.

Its leader, Mr Herbert Kickle, is expected to start negotiations with the Conservatives and hopes to emerge as chancellor.

Will he win?

And if they do, what does the future look like for Austria's faltering economy and rising immigration?
