Zimbabwe's blueberry exports are positioning the country as one of the top producers in Africa, earning more than $100 million annually in export revenue. But after occupying the land for more than 20 years, local black farmers have found it difficult to break into the capital-intensive blueberry sector. There are only 22 farmers growing blueberries and a handful of indigenous farmers. As France24's Nyasha Chingoyo reports, the main barriers to entry include an investment of up to $80 000 per hectare to grow the crop.
