According to reports, West Ham will only sanction Luisao's loan move if the player's wages are paid in full.
The 22-year-old joined the Hammers in January 2023 after an impressive 20 games for Sao Paulo.
Enzo Maresca is worried about one Chelsea player, West Ham could make a transfer decision!
However, Luizão has yet to feature for West Ham's senior team, instead playing 48 times for the club's U21 side, scoring four goals along the way.
Clubs from his native Brazil showed strong interest in Luisao over the summer, but despite not being on the Premier League squad list, the Hammers were unable to sell.
However, this interest did not fade away.
Recent reports have linked clubs such as Gremio, Bahia and Internazionale with a move for the centre-back, even with his agent talking his player's appetite to the last.
“We had inquiries from various clubs in Brazil, including Inter (Internacional). But we have nothing official from any club, only inquiries about interest and salary. Today, “West Ham” gives it on loan with the right to buy,” he said.
“But who wouldn't want to play for Inter?” Today we are more for the clubs than for ourselves.
“Inter really came at us in the last window and didn't make a move, there was another advantage. But we're open, if Inter makes it official, we won't waste any time.”
Louisao is leaving West Ham on loan
Recent reports have confirmed the statements of agent Louisa, of Trivel (trans Sports Witness), saying that West Ham are happy to let the defender go on loan in January.
However, there is a catch: the Hammers are only prepared to sanction such a move if his entire wage bill is covered by the host club.
That would be quite a sum for the Brazilian club, with Luisao currently pocketing £20,000 a week, according to Salary Sports.
Trivello's report also states that Atletico-MG, Vasco and Corinthians have submitted requests for the London Stadium.
