He became only the second Argentinian to win the award after Erik Lamela won it in 2021, when he scored a memorable Rabona against Spurs in the north London derby against Arsenal.
Ganache's stunning goal came in the third minute of United's 3-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park and surprisingly secured two Premier League goals for Manchester United for the 2023-24 season.
His goal is now officially recognized as the best goal scored worldwide between August 2023 and August 2024.
Football star Alessandro Del Piero made the announcement at the Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony held in Doha, Qatar.

Garnacho, Mohammed Kudus from West Ham. He beat off notable competition including Aston Villa's Jaden Philogene (who scored a goal on loan at Hull City) and Inter Milan's Federico Dimarco.
In a statement, Manchester United said: “Congratulations to Alejandro Ganácho who has won the FIFA Puskas Award for 2024.
“The Manchester United winger was recognized for the spectacular acrobatic bicycle kick he scored against Everton in November 2023.
“It's good for us for 17 points. Thank you to everyone who supported him. It's a goal we will cherish for years to come.”
The voting process for the Puskas award involved fans as well as a panel of FIFA legends, ensuring Garnacho's goal received approval from some of football's biggest names.
This victory placed him alongside his idol Cristiano Ronaldo and Garnacho, who was the first winner of the Puskas Award in 2009.
Ronaldo was proud of his long-range strike against FC Porto in the 2008-09 Champions League quarter-finals.
Garnacho is now the second Manchester United player to win the award.
