Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly not interested in a move for Marcus Rashford, but Atletico Madrid could be an option for the Manchester United forward.

Last year was a tough one for Rashford as he was far from his best, so perhaps it's no surprise that big names like Arsenal and Chelsea are unsure whether to take a chance on him.

However, there will surely be interest in such a big name as Rashford when he announced that he was interested in a new challengeand it seems that Atletico Madrid could be the most realistic option for the England international.

We did a case for Arsenal gambling on a deal for Rashfordbut even if the Gunners were interested in him, it's conceivable that United would be reluctant to let him join their rivals.

It could also rule out Chelsea, who probably need Rashford less anyway due to the presence of the likes of Cole Palmer, Nony Madueke, Pedro Neto, Joao Felix and Jadon Sancho.

So, could a move to Spain be just what Rashford needs at this stage in his career?

In truth, after so many years at Old Trafford, it makes sense that Rashford might feel he just needs a complete change of scenery to keep him motivated.

Playing for another Premier League club might not be enough, so perhaps a move abroad could do something to light the fire for Rashford.

Atletico already have another English player in Conor Gallagher, while Kieran Trippier has also been a key player for them in the past.

It looks like it could be a good move for Rashford and it will be interesting to see if it leads to anything in the coming weeks.
